Powershift Performance

Our first female driver debuts at this race. Susan Boles Lisenbee will be in the #51 truck. Unfortunately, Mackvader is still recovering from a blown turbo and will miss this race.

In the first Heat Race #27 began sending out heavy white smoke and pulled into the pits. Marshall Davis in #41 took the win. Mark Noble in the #74 won Heat Race 2. The third Heat Race had three restarts with #63, Cody Slowinski, jumping the start from the poll position. He was sent to the back of the field for the fourth start of the race which was won by Ricky Rude in #14. Justin Ball won the Shootout in his #17.

Allan Boles won the first Challenge Race in #3 and Ricky Rude won the second Challenge Race in #14.

Instead of the usual 8, 10, or 12 position inversion pill drawn by the points leader to determine the order of start for the Main Race, a group of kids drew truck numbers to determine the starting lineup. About four laps into the race #16 hit #4 and both skidded and spun, then as Mike Ward fell back in the pack the #16 hit #13 with more skidding and spinning. Trucks #41, #27, and #51 were all off track, and a number of drivers received warnings. After the lap 7 restart #17 was black flagged, #63 went to the pits, and then #3 and #7 tangled and spun. The lap 25 restart had 11 of 15 trucks on the track. Ricky Rude in #14 took the win.
