Powershift Performance

The LaCrosse Speedway is a nearly flat track, 1/2 mile long on the inside rail and 5/8 mile long on the outside rail. Nick Seidell drove the #51 truck and Mike Ward continues to drive the #16.

The #88 was 9th in the Qualifying time laps. The Heat Races had some bumpin and rubbin, and some sliddin, but no crashes. The first Heat Race was won by Marhall Davis in #41. Morgan ran in the second Heat Race, starting in 2nd and finishing in 4th. Heat Race 3 was won by Mike Ward in #16.

Mackvader ran in the first Challenge Race starting and finishing in 3rd behind Justin Ball in #17 and Cody Slowinski in #63. The #88 moved into 2nd for about seven laps but got a little sideways allowing #63 to get past. The second Challenge Race was won by Ricky Rude in #14.

The A-Main Race had an 8-position inversion that put Morgan in the 3rd place starting position. In lap 15 Cody Sloinski in #63 slowed down and was hit by #14 sending him into the wall. Morgan was 4th in the restart and 5th for the finish after being passed by #14. Mike Ward in #16 finished 1st, followed by Jon Lisenbee in #7 and Justin Ball in #17.

Morgan placed 9th in Qualifying for 60 points, went from 2nd to 4th in his Heat Race for 172 points, participated in the Shootout for 5 points, started and finished in 3rd in his Challenge Race for 182 points, and went from 3rd to 5th in the Main Race for 165 points. Morgan gained 584 points at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway. After finishing the Hawkeye Downs makeup races Mike's points total is 2975.5, which places him at #14 of 23 drivers.
