8:30 - 8:50 am: ChampTruck Open Practice. It is hot already.

9:30 - 9:50 am: ChampTruck Qualifying. Kristian Szabo in #23 had the fastest lap at 1:25.311. Mike Ryan in #11 had the second fastest lap at 1:16.109. Mike Morgan was only 0.001 second behind at 1:26.110, so he starts in the third position.

10:30 - 10:50 am: Race Heat 1. In the second lap #63 Trever Kruckeburg's transmission died and his race weekend ended. Mackvader started in third and finished in third. The three lead drivers maintained their positions throughout the race in spite of challenges.

1:15 - 1:35 pm: Race Heat 2. Start order was inverted from the finish of the previous race. In the lead in the eighth lap Allen Boles #3 truck blew the turbo blanketing the area with white smoke. During the many position changes Mackvader moved up to fourth place for the finish.

2:15 - 2:35 pm: Race Heat 3. HOT! Air temperature here at the track is 108*. The track is a reported 137*. Tires don't last is this weather. Start order is inverted from the previous race. Allen Boles replaced his turbo and started in the pole position. He maintained that position throughout the race. Szabo (#23) had worked his way up to second when he hit the tire wall and dropped to the back of the pack. Mackvader ran a clean race and finished in fourth.

2:45 - 3:15 pm: Driver Autograph Session. Lots of new fans. We even met one lady who drives a Mack truck #88!

Sunday, July 19

10:15 - 10:35 am: Race Heat 4. Rain showers ended before this race and the track dried quickly. Start order was inverted. During a pass attempt by #54 in the third lap Klemmenson bumped #23 (Szabo) who spun and then crashed hard into the wall destroying his front end. The driver was unhurt. A caution ensued that then led to a decision to end the race because of the amount of time required to extract the truck and repair the wall. Mackvader was in third place, well ahead of the action.

11:30 - 12:00 pm: Driver Autograph Session

12:30 - 12:50 pm: Race Heat 5. Szabo was offered use of #11 truck which he ran for this and the podium race. The start order was inverted. Trucks finished in the same order in which they started although there were many challenges. Mackvader finished fourth.

2:45 - 3:20 pm: Podium Race. The race order was inverted. Mackvader finished third.

3:45 pm: Awards Ceremony. Mike Morgan (#88) received a trophy for his third place finish in the Podium Race.
