Bandit racing made a first ever visit to Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL in 2019. The #88 had a 2nd place finish in the Main Race. This is a fast, half-mile, asphalt oval car track with 15 degree banking in the turns and 9 degrees on the straights. Bandit Racing returned for the postponed season opener on May 8th.

RACE SUMMARY - Team 88-Mike finished Heat Race 2 in 4th, WON Challenge Race 1, and finished 8th in the Main Race.

QUALIFYING - Times were close with #3 the fastest in a 23.383 second lap. The #4 was second, the #99 was third, and #88 was fourth at 23.998.

HEAT RACES - Heat 1 went smoothly with #41, Marshall Davis, winning. Heat 2 was a bit more exciting with more passing. The #88 started in 3rd, but fell to 4th as the #99 moved to the front for a win. Unfortunately the #88 was passing #27 at the finish line, but #27 was recorded as finishing before #88. No third Heat was run with only 12 trucks operational at the time.

CHALLENGE RACES - Challenge 1 started with Morgan's #88 in pole position with #4 behind him. And that's where #4 stayed the entire race trying every which way to pass #88 until Morgan's #88 took the win! Challenge 2 had #54 spin out in lap 2 of 15, sending him to the pits followed by #51. Later in the race #46 blew a right front tire and hit the wall. His damage was minimal, so he changed the tire and returned to the race for the finish. The #99 won the race.

MAIN RACE - The Main Race began with #88 near the back on the utside of the fifth row (10th position). The #16 headed into the pits after one lap with steering issues. In lap 2 the #3 tried to go up the middle, but hit #27 sending him into the wall. The #27, #99, #54 and #41 trucks were tangled in the resulting mess, but #88 went high and stayed clear of it all. The #54 went to the pits for a damage check, but returned to the track. On the restart the #88 was in 8th position. Lots of bumpin' and rubbin', but no more crashes. Nine of thirteen trucks finished the race. Scott Treadway in #4 finished in first, while the #88 finished in 8th.
