Heat Races

The first Heat Race saw some fierce competition between #16 and #14 with #16 pulling out the win.

Heat Race 2 had #88 starting in 3rd and moving past #54 to take 2nd, while #3 took 1st.

Challenge Races

Challenge Race 1 had fierce competition between #3 and #14 with the lead changing several times until the #3 took the checkered flag.

In Challenge Race 2 #88 challenged #16 and held the lead for a couple laps before #16 took the checkered flag with #88 in 2nd. The #27 developed issues and left the track early.

Two GATRs lead Main Race
Two GATR veterans lead the parade laps of the A-Main Race, Mr. Norman in the #50 Ford and Bill Johnson in the #11 Corbitt.

A-Main Race

The #88 would have started in fourth for the A-Main Race until the pill was drawn, resulting in a twelve truck inversion. Mackvader started in 9th. The first lap was without incident. In the second lap the #63 turned down into the #17 going three wide in turn 1. The #63 went sideways on the track and everyone behind him crashed into something or someone or spun out. The #88 went high behind #16 to avoid #3 (who t-boned #63) and #00; the crash took out #88s front end and took off #16s rear bumper. The rear of #3 swung into #88 who was against the wall and into #16. The #26 smacked #3 with his rear end as he spun. Without hood, steering, radiator, and gear box #88 was done for the night.
