9:40 to 10:00 am -- Heat Race 3.Mike started in 3rd and held that position until he passed Boles #3. Mackvader came in a close 2nd behind Szabo's #23.

10:50 to 11:10 am -- Heat Race 4. Starting order was first row: #14 and #73, second row: #88 and #3 with #23 behind them. At the green flag #14 moved to the front and #88 moved to follow making contact with #73 in the first chicane. #23 passed #3. The yellow caution flag came out. After the restart #88 passed #73, moving into 2nd. #23 then passed #73. Morgan's #88 passed #14 for 1st, then #23 passed #14 for second. This is Mike's third 1st place win this weekend!

11:45 to 12:30 pm -- Driver Autograph Session

12:45 to 1:05 pm -- Heat Race 5. Morgan started in 5th. #23 passed #14 for 3rd, then passed #73 for 2nd behind #3. Mike's #88 locked up brakes creating a flat spot on a steering tire. To finish the race without further damage Mike eased back and stayed off the brakes as much as possible.

2:30 to 3:00 pm -- Podium Race. Start positions: #73, #14, #3, #23, #88. The Podium Race took place on an extended 2.1 mile track. When the race began #14 passed #73, then #3 passed #73. #88 passed #23 for 4th, then passed #73 for 3rd. #23 passed #73, then #73 passed #23, and then #23 passed #73. Morgan's #88 made a clean pass of #3 for 2nd, but #3 lost it, sliding into #88 spinning both off track in a cloud of dust. Two laps later #88 was black flagged for the dust up and penalized with a 2 minute stop on pit lane. [Check the videos above right to see for yourself. No appeal was made because Morgan had already won the points trophies.] Morgan returned to the course in 5th, finishing in that position.

5:00 to 7:30 pm --Championship Awards Banquet. Driver Mike Morgan has finished FIRST in points for the season. The Powershift Performance Team and Mackvader finished FIRST in points for the season. That's two large trophies plus three more for first in three heat races this weekend. Awesome!

Note: Once again #88 had the fastest lap times on both courses, even beating the ChumpCar sports cars that alternated racing on the same two tracks! Yes, Mackvader had faster lap times than the sports cars on the road course!!!
